Due to the rational, conscious, understanding about Nature and individuals which Folk Culture reveals to us, we are poised to take the next leap forward in our human evolution.
This leap involves us in consciously understanding the true meaning of our lives, and using our will to act upon this understanding, thereby changing both ourselves, and the world, for the better through such a Triumph of the Will.
This triumph of the will takes us up and away from the half-primitive way of life which the majority of people still follow. This half-primitive way is the way of the individual, of the self: of the pursuit of material comfort and personal happiness for ourselves and our immediate family only. It is the way where we see ourselves as either masters of our fate, our own destiny, or as dependent upon an lifeless, half-primitive conception of some remote, all-powerful deity, or some remote inhuman political State.
While this so-called modern materialistic conception of humanity with its individualistic hedonistic existence is a step up from the state of absolute barbarism which our pre-human ancestors endured, it is still a half-primitive way of life. For it is the way where we have forgotten, or never known, that we as individuals are dependant upon Nature, are only a nexus between the past and the future of our collective, and most importantly have the power within ourselves to rationally understand our existence and act upon that understanding in a positive way, beneficial to Nature, so that we thereby continue our evolution as human beings.
The truth about Folk Culture is that it restores within us the vital, organic, numinous, connection we have lost during the centuries we have lived in a half-primitive way: the connection to our folk, to Nature, and to the evolving Cosmos beyond.
This understanding of us, as individuals, belonging to the collective of our folk, which is Nature made manifest, and thence to the collective which is Nature, is a revolutionary insight which restores us to our rightful place in Nature and the cosmos - a living, organic, link: a nexus which can lead us to new possibilities. That is, that we, as this nexus, have the potential to alter the future of life here on Earth, and in the cosmos, in a positive, evolutionary way.
And it is this revolutionary insight about the true nature of our existence
- about our true evolutionary purpose, as individual human beings - which
the enemies of Folk Culture hate, seek to suppress and then destroy. For
this insight threatens the way of life these enemies of Folk Culture have
created for the majority of people today: the way of materialism, of a
global capitalism which considers the individual a consumer and a producer,
a product to be manipulated and used in the pursuit of profit and material
comfort.
A New Way of Life
Folk Culture shows that our life does have a glorious, positive purpose, and that when we as individuals find and follow this purpose, our own lives are enhanced in a joyful way which is impossible otherwise.
The new way of life which Folk Culture offers is the way of balance:
where our family, our community, and our folk are understood as a means
whereby we can maintain, strengthen and evolve the nexus which we, as an
individual, are. And we maintain, strengthen, and evolve this nexus when
we uphold the idealistic, noble values of reason, honour, and loyalty,
and when we do our duty both to our ancestors and the future itself through
achieving our own Triumph of the Will.
